But it’s anything but restful when lowlife Owen Musser stirs up the wrath of the Ku Klux Klan, who have their sights set on the Meeks Lodge. November 14, 2008
The St. Mary's Model United Nations club is shown in this photo at a "Pit Stop," awaiting the arrival of a replacement bus to continue the club's journey to The College of William & Mary. The club's original bus broke down en route to William & Mary, where the club is participating in a conference that includes participants from high schools around the country. It doesn't seem, from the photo, that the delay interfered with the students' plans to enjoy themselves!

| This Weekend: Romeo and Juliet! |
Never was there “a tale of more woe” than Shakespeare’s classic tragedy Romeo and Juliet, to be performed by St. Mary's Theatre November 21-23.

Junior Alexander Glass and senior Marina Young star in Romeo and Juliet.
Set in the Renaissance town of Verona, Italy, this timeless story of “star-crossed lovers” examines the life, love, and death of two teenagers caught up in an all-consuming cycle of violence. Is the lovers’ pledge to look past their differences enough to bring an end to the strife? The chilling end of this unforgettable play is a testament to the countless ways in which William Shakespeare forever transformed the art and storytelling of live theatre.
The students of St. Mary’s Theatre bring Romeo and Juliet vividly to life with memorable performances, strong production values, and a chilling vocal score. This is an historic performance for St. Mary’s Theatre—and one that is not to be missed!
Show dates and times for Romeo and Juliet are as follows:
· Fri., November 21 – 8:00 pm.
· Sat., November 22 – 2 :00pm.
· Sat., November 22 – 8:00pm.
· Sun., November 23 – 2:00pm.
Tickets are $10 adults, $5 students/children. Call 410-990-4100 x4716 for tickets and more information. | Martelli, Matt | 11/17/2008 9:51 PM | 11/24/2008 | |

| Powderpuff Football Results | In a driving rain on Saturday evening, St. Mary's senior girls narrowly defeated the juniors 8-6 in a fundraising touch football game at the turf field. Both teams played solidly, showing competitive spirit, determination, and talent.
The coaching also stood out, with both teams frequently using unbalanced formations and trick plays in an effort to gain advantage or exploit weaknesses in the other team's strategy.
Parents, students, and friends showed up in surprisingly large numbers despite the weather, cheering loudly and supporting their team.
Special thanks go to Mr. Buckingham, St. Mary's athletic director, for making the field available and operating the lights and scoreboard, and also to Mr. Gareis, for coordinating planning for the game, and for serving as referee.
